Craig Ferrie (MT.Mods) - #SteamPunk20

Link to Project Log

Craig's project centres around the weathered, steampunk aesthetic, and boy has he taken it to heart. The case itself has been truly chopped, with the rear panel entirely removed leaving the internals open to the elements; the roof is further supported by custom side panels that feature glowing cog motifs and brass detailing. There's a definite maritime vibe going on, with Craig choosing to weather many of the parts using an ageing effect that introduces genuine rust to the surfaces of the materials.

The look is further complemented by the additions of moving gears that all link together, along with even a 'steam' generator that adds puffs of atmospheric smoke when running! The RGB has also been incorporated stealthily into the whole build, with lighting pulsing through the panels and components, but set to a fitting golden hue - of course, rainbows are always an option too...

Did Craig's project leave you feeling all hot and steamy? If so then you should probably leave him a vote in the poll!
